Last week I asked you to complete a short survey about Medicare and the proposed expansion of benefits, including sight and hearing benefits. I am updating you on the initial results of our survey; we’ll keep you posted on this critical issue. Our first survey question had an overwhelming response, with over 75% believing that Medicare benefits should be expended to include BOTH sight and hearing benefits. Our second question asked you to rank the proposed benefits of the Medicare expansion. Topping the list was hearing benefits, with sight and dental benefits, a close second and third. The last choice was lowering the age of eligibility to 60.
