An 8-year-old girl struck up a friendship with her local delivery driver, who is deaf, during the long weeks of lockdown in Ashton-Under-Lyne in the UK, Metro News reports.
Recognizing the key work driver Tim Joseph was doing during the pandemic, the Tallulah Roberts drew Tim a rainbow picture at the beginning of lockdown saying ‘thank you,’ which has hung in his van ever since.
But Tallulah wanted to do more, so she decided to learn some sign language. In a touching video, uploaded by her ‘proud mum’ Amy Roberts, Tallulah is seen greeting a smiling Tim at their front gate and signs to him: “Have a good day.”
The driver said the exchange “absolutely made my day.”
