Basketball Team Wears Sign Language Jerseys for Deaf Awareness

Windy City Bulls spell out their name.

The G-League affiliate Windy City Bulls signaled their solidarity with the deaf community earlier this month, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

The team replaced the text on their jerseys with images of American sign language spelling out “BULLS” as part of Deaf Awareness Night.

They wore the uniforms in a game with the Greensboro Swarm, in a night that included an auction with proceeds going to the Illinois Association of the Deaf.
